If you like the favorite, get in now. I think they will pound on Brasil which will push it up to -1 when it is getting closer to the kick-off.

Something is not quite right with the trend. Teams play conservative in the play-off, but scoring chances are plenty. The finishing touches were just not there. And the new ball is designed to increase the score. Group stage goal average 3.72/g, R16 goal average 1.38/g, or 63% decrease. The trend will reverse. I just have to stick to my gun here....way to go out on the last day of R16. Simply horrendous!!!!

The under has gone wild in R16 (U,U,O,U,U,U,U,U) and it's hard to believe. The referee actually bailed out the Over (Holland v Mexico) in the last minute, otherwise it's a clean sweep, it will take a long time to break that record 7U-1O.

Missing Neymar is a big loss for Brazil because he is a focal point of all attacking for Brazil. Not sure about Silva. Personally, I think he is average since game 1. Big Phil will likely slide Dante in the starting XI, he can't be any worse, really. I have the tendency not to bet against the host in the late stage of the tournament.

Argentina v Holland should be a more open game. Both team are attacked minded and there are world class players on both sides who could decide the game at any moment. The Dutch has the ability to move the ball quicker with one touch passing vs ball hogging Argentine. Also I think Holland has played tougher opponents in this tournament than Argentina. Holland line-up is more balance than Argentina. Tactically speaking, Van Gaal is too savvy for Sabella. I don't think Argentina can't afford to sit back and absorb pressures playing the Dutch but I hope they will so the Dutch would punish them.

The Overs...face)(*^% ... if we can include two bailouts that would be 12U in the playoff - a new record :neenee:

Holland just couldn't break down 9 compact defenders... Try to play Holland out, and you'll get Robben coming at you with a 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 counter-attack... Good luck. Hopefully they can contain Messi somehow.

I wouldn't bet this Brazil game either, but I have them winning it all (might hedge). I still think losing Neymar completely fucking sucks, but with the tactical change of shifting Oscar to the ACM role and putting Willian outwide, you have two workhorses that track back and can still get forward on counters... What they lose in Neymar's flair and creativity, they gain a tighter defensive unit that can play more counter attack/fouling the shit out of you in smart areas on the field. Atmosphere should be completely crazy and I see a 1-1 game that goes to AET, possibly PKs.
